Pitchlog was born out of frustration. Too many coaches were still tracking playing time on paper, in spreadsheets, or not at all. We decided to fix that.
Playing time tracking was either done manually on paper, forgotten between games, or buried in generic spreadsheets that took more time to maintain than the match itself. Coaches needed something better.
Pitchlog was developed together with professional football coaches who told us exactly what they needed: something fast, clear, and built for real matchday conditions — not a feature-bloated platform nobody uses on the touchline.
The result is an app that does one thing exceptionally well: giving every coach full visibility into who played, and for how long.
Three things that guide every decision we make.
Everything in Pitchlog is designed around the coach's matchday workflow — not the other way around. If it slows you down on the touchline, it doesn't ship.
Playing time tracking doesn't need to be complicated. We obsess over removing friction so coaches can focus on what matters: the game.
Clear playing time data builds trust — with players, parents and the club. Pitchlog gives you the facts, so conversations are based on numbers, not memory.
Pitchlog is a product by Gilla Läget, a company dedicated to developing coaching expertise. Our main focus is on strengthening coach identity and philosophy — helping coaches understand who they are, what they stand for, and how they want to develop the players in their care.
Our motto is "enjoy the chaos of life" — and Pitchlog was born from exactly that spirit. Football is unpredictable, messy and wonderful. Instead of fighting the chaos on the touchline, we built a tool that lets you stay present in it — because the less time you spend on admin, the more you can just coach.
Gilla Läget is a one-person company. If you have feedback, a question, or just want to say hello, I would love to hear from you.
Questions, feedback or partnership enquiries welcome.
